Position: Expert Geotechnical Engineer for AECOM

In this role, you will oversee the design process for mine waste management facilities, acting as the Engineer of Record. Your position requires guiding and mentoring engineering teams while providing clients with strategic advice on regulatory compliance. Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tailings management facility designs from concept to completion

• Serve as Engineer of Record for major tailings designs

• Mentor engineering personnel to enhance team expertise

• Review engineering documentation for compliance and standards

• Consult with clients on engineering strategies and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline

• 8+ years in the tailings and mine waste sector

• Experience as Engineer of Record for large facilities

• Ability to build effective collaborative relationships

• Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
