Primary Responsibilities
Participate and produce various deliverables in line with the project needs;
Work in multidisciplinary project teams, produce and sign off deliverables;
Work with the Department Lead to pursue new business opportunities with new and/or existing clients;
Assist stakeholders in proposal writing and fee estimates;
Coach, guide and mentor junior engineers on the team;
Collaboratively support business/operations through sound management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledge & resources;
Provide expertise in Capital and Operating projects;
Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety, as well as all other regulations & policies;
Development & implementation of budgets;
Partake in site surveys;
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
8+ years of engineering design experience within mining, heavy industrial or related industries;
Proven organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills;
Able to multi-task, meet deadlines, self-motivate, and adapt to change;
Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels;
Experience with metal / mineral processing plants, piping, cooling systems, compression, mining operations, conveyance systems and/or pressure vessels is considered a plus.

Compensation for this role is therefore based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining internal equity. The level and associated salary may vary depending on the candidate’s profile.
