Position: Senior Mining Structural Engineer Role
Location: Greater Sudbury

Take on a pivotal role at EXP as a Senior Structural Engineer focused on mining in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ON. Bring your proven engineering skills in structural design and project management to drive success in the mining sector.

As a senior member of the Mining team, you'll conduct site assessments and design steel structures per industry standards.

Your role involves preparing technical documents, overseeing project execution, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll be instrumental in ensuring project success from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect mining infrastructure during site visits

• Analyze and design structures and foundations

• Coordinate design development with clients

• Prepare engineering calculations and reports

• Review and mentor junior engineering staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural)

• Registration as a Professional Engineer

• 12+ years in mining engineering experience

• Strong knowledge of related codes and standards

• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro and BIM environments
