This full-time, permanent position involves oversight of ground control programs and systems to sustain stability at mining operations. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, your collaboration with site engineers and project managers will enhance overall performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor ground control systems effectively

• Ensure the safety of mining operations and legacy sites

• Work closely with Mine/Geology Directors for program alignment

• Guide and mentor geotechnical teams on-site

• Maintain consistency in technical excellence and program direction

Requirements:

• Degree in mining or geotechnical engineering

• Master’s in rock mechanics is advantageous

• 12 years of engineering experience in industry

• 6 years in specialized geotechnical work

• Strong communication and leadership skills
