Position: Mechanical Engineer for BBA
Elevate your engineering career with BBA as a Mechanical Engineer in Sudbury, Ontario. Support mine process plants through detailed engineering and project management initiatives across all phases.

As an experienced member of BBA's Mechanical Engineering team, you'll spearhead various engineering projects, including feasibility studies and conceptual designs. You'll take charge of detailed engineering involving heavy machinery, pump systems, and metallurgical processes, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and budget constraints. Building client relationships will be essential, along with mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead conceptual and detailed engineering studies

• Prepare engineering plans and specifications

• Perform calculations for equipment sizing and design

• Supervise junior engineers and technicians

• Verify and produce technical documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum five years of relevant experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and Smart Plant

• Familiarity with HVAC and underground mining systems

• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
