Senior Civil Engineer - Bridge Design

Location: Greater Sudbury

Take the next step as a Senior Engineer with WSP's Ontario Bridge Team in Thunder Bay or Sudbury. This pivotal role emphasizes leadership in bridge design and engineering project management.

In this position, you'll lead the design process for a range of complex structures, managing multiple projects effectively. You'll conduct structural analysis, prepare reports, and provide peer review services to ensure top-quality results for government clients. Your guidance will support intermediate and junior engineers in their development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design efforts for bridges and civil structures

• Perform and coordinate structural analysis tasks

• Oversee bridge engineering projects and collaborate with teams

• Prepare detailed engineering specifications and reports

• Conduct peer reviews and enforce QA/QC practices

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution

• 7–12 years of experience in bridge engineering

• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer

• Familiarity with structural analysis software

• Valid driver's license and knowledge of Canadian standards
