Draftsperson Opportunity INO

Join Glencore's Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations as a Draftsperson specializing in Mechanical and Civil drafting. This full-time position is based on-site in Ontario.

As a Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in preparing General Arrangement and detailed drawings from general information provided by Design Engineers. Ensure your work adheres to safety standards and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create preliminary and detailed drawings for projects

• Coordinate with engineers for design specifications

• Maintain drafting standards in compliance with regulations

• Assist in documenting and managing project drafts

• Conduct revisions as needed based on project feedback

Requirements:

• Community college graduation in drafting or similar

• Six years of progressive experience in drafting

• Understanding of mechanical and structural projects

• Knowledge of underground mining equipment

• Valid Ontario Vehicle Operating Permit
