WSP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute technical leadership on multidisciplinary projects that aim to improve safety and efficiency in mining and industrial systems.
Your role will involve mentoring, system design, and collaboration with various teams. You will directly impact clients and communities, ensuring high-performing operations through innovative engineering design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical engineering designs from concept to execution
• Develop specifications and calculations for robust systems
• Collaborate with teams across disciplines for integration
• Review designs for quality and compliance with standards
• Mentor junior engineers to foster their growth
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Over 15 years of experience in mining and heavy industry
• Eligible for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• Proficiency in mechanical design tools
• Willingness to support fieldwork and safety protocols
