Process Optimization Lead

Elevate water and wastewater operations as the Process Optimization Lead with the City of Greater Sudbury. Implement best practices and enhance regulatory compliance to improve treatment performance.

This permanent position is part of the Compliance and Operational Support division, focusing on optimizing water and stormwater treatment processes. You will supervise the Water/Wastewater Process Technologist and support compliance initiatives through data analysis and corrective actions. The role emphasizes fostering engagement while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate Water/Wastewater Process Technologist's work

• Act as technical resource for operational troubleshooting

• Monitor and analyze performance data for optimization opportunities

• Plan and execute process optimization studies and evaluations

• Develop and maintain technical procedures and documents

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in a related field

• Four years of experience with Quality Management Systems

• Two years supervisory experience in unionized settings

• Proven experience in water/wastewater treatment operations

• Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and auditing
