Join EXP as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, leading innovative projects in water and wastewater treatment in Sudbury or Barrie, Ontario. Drive technical excellence and sustainability in community-focused infrastructure.
As part of the Water & Wastewater team, you'll oversee the planning, design, and delivery of treatment facilities and pumping stations. Collaborating with diverse professionals, this role emphasizes your engineering expertise and passion for improving community infrastructure through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical design for municipal treatment facilities
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and reports
• Specify mechanical equipment, including pumps and HVAC systems
• Conduct feasibility studies and lifecycle evaluations
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer designation in Ontario
• Over 10 years’ experience in treatment facility design
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure processes
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
