Advance your career as a Junior Mining Engineer with BBA in Sudbury, focusing on both underground and open pit mining projects. Collaborate with experienced teams and clients for impactful results.
In this role, you will report to the Team Lead for Mining Engineering and provide essential support for various mining mandates. Engage in open pit optimization, mine design, and equipment calculations, contributing to both local and international operations. You will work within a collaborative, learning-driven culture at BBA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform equipment fleet and cost calculations
• Assist in designing underground mining methods
• Collaborate on studies and prepare study reports
• Present results and technical information to clients
• Participate in production scheduling and planning
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
• Experience in a mining operation (2-5 years)
• Must be a member of PEO
• Familiarity with mining software tools (Minesight, Deswik)
• Asset:
Bilingual (English/French)
