Position: Mining Engineering Co-Op
Kickstart your engineering career with Vale Base Metals as a Mining Engineering Co-op Student in Sudbury, Ontario. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in engineering planning and design, starting in January or May 2027.

As a Mining Engineering Co-op Student, you'll be part of the Mines Technical Services Department, assisting with key engineering projects to ensure safe and efficient operations. You'll develop skills essential for compliance with industry regulations while employing good engineering practices to minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow Vale's safety policies and legislative standards

• Develop engineering skills relevant to Ontario Operations

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards

• Provide technical support for safe, cost-effective operations

• Monitor process parameters and communicate anomalies

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Mining Co-operative Engineering program

• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
