Fortinet Network Engineer in Healthcare

Location: Greater Sudbury

Elevate your career as a Network Engineer in a Fortinet-centric environment supporting healthcare operations. This permanent, full-time role focuses on network architecture, security, and performance management.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you will play a crucial role in maintaining secure and high-performing network infrastructure across multiple healthcare sites. With at least five years of experience, you should have strong skills in routing, switching, and network security solutions, alongside collaborating with teams to ensure system availability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure network infrastructure across healthcare locations

• Administer routing, switching, and wireless technologies including SD-WAN

• Manage Fortinet security solutions such as firewalls and VPNs

• Monitor network performance and resolve security issues proactively

• Develop network diagrams and documentation for operational procedures

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• Minimum five years in enterprise network security solutions

• Strong skills in TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, and monitoring tools

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST and CIS

• Valid driver's license for site travel
