This on-site role seeks an experienced technician with a minimum of 2 years in data centers or IT infrastructure. Key skills include structured cabling and experience with server hardware from leading brands. Your responsibilities will span hardware installations and addressing connectivity issues, contributing to operational excellence in a busy data center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and manage server hardware configurations
• Perform structured cabling for copper and fiber optic
• Manage server racking, stacking, and labeling tasks
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
• Keep detailed documentation of work processes
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a data center setting
• Proficient in cabling standards (Cat5e/6/6a)
• Familiarity with Dell, HP, Supermicro server equipment
• Capable of lifting over 50 lbs within the facility
• Network certifications (CCNA or CompTIA Network+) preferred
