Join Agnico Eagle as an IT Technician specializing in underground operations at the Detour Lake Mine. Deliver critical IT support while ensuring services are safe, secure, and reliable.
As a key member of the Information Technology Department, you will collaborate closely with various teams to maintain IT infrastructure within the underground environment. Your expertise in troubleshooting, user support, and system performance will be essential for the success of the mining operation. You will travel underground to address complex IT issues and ensure that all technical services are operational.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support
• Travel underground to maintain IT equipment
• Monitor technology availability and performance
• Coordinate with supervisors and operational teams
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories
Requirements:
• College diploma in IT or related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years in IT support
• Experience with Windows and networking
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Commitment to health and safety standards
