Position: Buyer Role Ontario
DMC is hiring a Buyer on a contract basis in Sudbury, Ontario. Drive the procurement process by managing contracts and supplier relationships effectively.

As a key player in procurement at DMC, you will ensure compliance with industry standards while coordinating with the Operations team and suppliers. This role requires a minimum of five years in purchasing to successfully create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), facilitating smooth operations. You will ensure the timely sourcing of materials and maintain thorough documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate suppliers to ensure project suitability

• Identify cost-effective sourcing strategies

• Manage POs, ensuring accuracy in the ERP system

• Address discrepancies with vendor invoices

• Maintain compliance with legal and company policies

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of procurement experience

• Degree in business or supply chain management preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and in teams
