Custodial Cleaner

Join BEST - For a Cleaner World as a Custodial Cleaner in Sudbury, Ontario. This on-call overnight role focuses on maintaining sanitary environments through routine and deep cleaning tasks.

This casual position offers flexible scheduling, working from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 6 AM. As a Custodial Cleaner, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning duties across facilities, ensuring safety and health standards are met. You will operate cleaning equipment and handle waste management while also reporting any maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean offices, classrooms, and medical labs

• Perform floor care, including stripping and waxing

• Execute carpet extraction and vacuuming

• Follow sanitization and disinfection protocols

• Report equipment issues and stock shortages

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check

• Previous custodial experience preferred

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Familiarity with cleaning machines and chemicals
