Location: Greater Sudbury

Staffinity is recruiting for a Janitorial Manager for ourclient in Sudbury. This is a permanent position with salary, benefits, and vacation. The base pay range is $60,000–$75,000 per year. The position will work full-time out of the Sudbury office with very occasional travel required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of janitorial staff across multiple client sites (industrial, commercial, and office spaces).
  • Supervise, schedule, and train cleaning teams to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with client standards and company policies.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning products, supplies, and equipment; coordinate ordering and distribution.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and task checklists for efficiency and accountability.
  • Support health and safety compliance, ensuring all staff follow WHMIS and workplace safety procedures.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to service issues or special requests.
  • Prepare reports on staffing, supply usage, and site performance for management review.
  • Mentor and support staff to improve retention, performance, and team culture.
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in janitorial services, facilities management, or related client facing environments.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role (multi-site experience an asset).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, industrial/commercial equipment, and safety standards.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking inventory.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a customer-service mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally when required.
