Horizon is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse Class A for a temporary part-time position, accommodating day, evening, night, and weekend rotations. This role demands at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience or equivalent acute care nursing expertise. You will play a pivotal role in the interdisciplinary team, ensuring exceptional patient care while complying with Emergency Department Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency situations and manage complex patient needs

• Prioritize patient care based on urgency and condition

• Complete annual Advanced Nursing Competencies (ANC)

• Maintain all essential ED certifications and competencies

• Facilitate patient transfers to higher-level care facilities

Requirements:

• Active registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick

• Minimum 2 years of relevant emergency experience

• Current BCLS certification needed

• Certification in key emergency nursing competencies

• Strong assessment and critical decision-making skills
