Upper River Valley RN Class A - Emergency Care

Location: River Valley

Provide essential nursing care as a part-time Registered Nurse Class A in the Emergency Department at Horizon Health Network, Upper River Valley. Your focus will be on high-acuity patient care and emergency interventions.

This temporary role requires a commitment to outstanding patient care and readiness for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of Acute Care experience, with a strong emphasis on emergency and critical care skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide triage and stabilization in emergency scenarios

• Support trauma care and urgent medical procedures

• Manage patient transfers to appropriate units

• Administer effective nursing care across multiple age groups

• Contribute to patient safety and quality improvement

Requirements:

• Registration with the Nurse's Association of New Brunswick

• 2+ years of acute care nursing experience

•

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, and BCMI required

• Excellent prioritization and critical thinking skills

• Willingness to pursue further training and certifications
