Position: Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care
Location: Greater Sudbury

Provide essential health care as a Nurse Practitioner at Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre in Sudbury, Ontario. Focus on holistic wellbeing, chronic disease management, and culturally relevant practices for diverse clients.

This full-time position involves delivering primary health care services and health education while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will emphasize culturally sensitive care, integrate traditional practices, and lead community health initiatives that respect Anishinaabe values. Strong clinical skills and an understanding of Indigenous health are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat clients across all age groups

• Collaborate in chronic disease management and mental health care

• Perform necessary diagnostic tests and procedures

• Lead health education and preventive care initiatives

• Maintain accurate, timely client health records

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification

• Current NP registration with CNO

• At least 2 years of primary care experience

• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset

• Excellent communication and EMR skills
