Location: River Valley
Join Horizon in the Upper River Valley as a Nurse Practitioner, delivering comprehensive healthcare in an Emergency Department. This full-time position emphasizes advanced nursing skills within a collaborative practice model.
The position is designed for motivated candidates with a Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in nursing, registered and in good standing in New Brunswick. Advanced clinical knowledge and recent experience in the emergency setting are key to providing acute care and enhancing team dynamics. This role requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to perform critical assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct advanced assessments and diagnosis of patients
• Collaborate with the medical team for comprehensive care
• Coordinate patient follow-up and treatment plans
• Mentor junior nurse practitioners and participate in evidence-based initiatives
• Document all patient interactions accurately in health systems
Requirements:
• Valid Baccalaureate or Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner
• Registered in New Brunswick with nursing authority
