Your responsibilities will include comprehensive assessments, diagnosing, and developing individualized care plans while complying with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal health care and educate residents and their families, ensuring informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and implement nursing care plans for residents
• Foster relationships promoting resident well-being
• Provide consultation on complex clinical matters
• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives
• Lead staff education and mentoring programs
Requirements:
• Current Nurse Practitioner registration (RN Extended Class)
• Master's Degree with post-Master’s NP credentials
• Experience in gerontology or complex care settings
• Required professional liability insurance
• Preference given to NPAO members
