Temporary Part-Time Nurse Position

Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Successful applicants will hold a Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have 2 years of hospital experience, particularly in acute care. The role includes significant responsibilities as Charge Nurse, providing leadership to ensure high-quality patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver care to obstetrical, surgical, and emergency patients

• Supervise nursing staff in Charge Nurse capacity

• Execute patient management via triage and emergency protocols

• Conduct thorough assessments and document nursing care

• Utilize nursing software for administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and ACLS

• Proficient in Meditech and Microsoft applications

• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
