Customer Service Associate

Customer service and selling skills shape this RONA associate position, helping shoppers with products, special orders, and store needs. The role supports customers in store and by telephone.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will assess customer requirements, make recommendations, and contribute to an excellent shopping experience. You will also maintain merchandise, monitor inventory, and build product knowledge through training. The position serves RONA, RONA+, and Dick’s Lumber customers.

• Assist customers with product requirements in store or by telephone
• Prepare special orders and confirm pricing and delivery dates
• Maintain stocked, merchandised areas and current signage
• Monitor inventory levels and highlight inventory concerns
• Keep current on flyers, promotions, and product applications

• Effective selling skills and excellent customer service commitment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer recommendations
• Some experience in a customer-focused role
• Ability to stretch, bend, lift, and carry medium to heavy products
• Willingness to participate in available training sessions
