Security Guard

AFIMAC is seeking licensed Security Guards for upcoming projects throughout the province of Ontario. This is a temporary contract position and may not be suitable for someone currently working full time.

• $18.00 per hour before overtime
• Hotel accommodations provided when required
• $30 per diem when lodging required
• Contract length 1–120 days
• Approximately $1,872 per week while on assignment

• Labour disruptions
• Organized protests
• Man‑made crises/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

• Valid security guard license in the province of Ontario
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within Ontario for extended periods (minimum 4‑week commitment)
• Availability to work 84 hours per week: 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, or drive for extended periods of time
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
• Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and ability to de‑escalate with little supervision
• Excellent report‑writing skills
