Compliance Privacy Analyst at HSN

Location: Greater Sudbury

Health Sciences North is seeking a Compliance Privacy Analyst to enhance organizational privacy practices and ensure adherence to provincial and federal legislation. You'll play a crucial role in supporting patient information security.

This role, guided by the Manager of Access to Information and Privacy, focuses on managing privacy risk and compliance initiatives. You'll analyze privacy incidents, recommend corrective actions, and uphold privacy policies based on best practices. Your contributions will be essential in educating and training staff on privacy and information security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide recommendations for compliance with privacy laws

• Analyze and report on privacy risks

• Lead investigations of privacy incidents

• Develop instructional materials and conduct training

• Participate in privacy audits and assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

• Minimum of three years in Privacy or Compliance roles

• Certification as CIPP or equivalent preferred

• Strong understanding of information protection laws

• Proven ability to handle sensitive information
