Position: Detour Lake Mine Security Guard Role
Location: Northeastern Ontario

Become a key player in Agnico Eagle's safety operations at the Detour Lake Mine as a Security Guard. Focus on access monitoring, emergency management, and asset protection.

In this role, you will be integral to the Asset Protection Department under the direction of the Asset Protection Supervisor. Candidates must hold a Security Guard License and possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include protecting physical and intellectual assets and supporting biodiversity efforts through wildlife management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access to the mine and high-security areas

• Safeguard personnel and production-related zones

• Oversee investigative searches and incident response

• Conduct daily video surveillance and documentation

• Liaise with local emergency services as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Private Security and Investigative Services License

• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military

• Training in Police Foundations or equivalent preferred

• Proficient in security compliance and documentation

• Willingness to pursue ongoing education in security
