Social Services Worker - Addiction Program

Join the Monarch Recovery Services team as a Social Services Addiction Worker. This casual role focuses on providing support in a 24/7 recovery program, with flexible shifts including evenings and overnights.

As part of this position, you will supervise clients and offer grounding emotional support. Key responsibilities include ensuring resident safety, managing client records, and facilitating admissions and discharges. This role requires responsiveness in emergencies and an emphasis on promoting activities that aid recovery in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor clients to ensure their safety and well-being

• Provide emotional and grounding support as needed

• Document client records accurately and timely

• Assist with the admissions and discharge processes

• Promote recovery-centric activities for clients

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related field required

• One year of experience in supportive care preferred

• Certified in First Aid/CPR and Crisis Intervention

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

• Bilingual candidates in French and English are preferred
