Position: Casual Child and Youth Worker Role
Location: Greater Sudbury

Support children and youth in a caring role at Kingsway Home. As a Casual Child and Youth Worker, you will implement behavioral programming and provide essential life skills coaching.

This position requires a diploma in social services and hands-on experience with Anishinabe Child and Family Well-Being Services. You will foster a safe environment, encourage emotional regulation, and empower youth to become resilient individuals while adhering to relevant acts and community codes of conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral programming tailored to youth needs

• Provide life skills coaching to develop independence

• Create a safe and supportive environment

• Facilitate opportunities for secure emotional attachment

• Engage in crisis intervention and mediation when necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Service Worker or Child and Youth Worker

• Experience with Anishinabek people preferred

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain

• Ontario Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• $1M Liability Insurance for client transport
