Family Services Clinician

Position: Full-Time Family Services Clinician
Pursue a rewarding role with Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services as a Family Services Clinician in Sudbury. Provide mental wellness support to adults and their families, using culturally appropriate methods.

This full-time contract role emphasizes therapeutic assessment and intervention for individuals aged 24 and above. You'll serve clients within the agency’s service area, integrating your clinical skills with a deep respect for Anishnabek traditions. Your five years of direct experience will enhance your ability to facilitate holistic wellness and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support clients through individual therapy

• Deliver group therapy sessions focused on mental health

• Employ culturally sensitive intervention techniques

• Collaborate with community partners to enhance service delivery

• Maintain ongoing client documentation and progress reports

Requirements:

• Honors Bachelor of Social Work or Master of Social Work degree

• Minimum of five years working with adults and families

• Respect for and knowledge of Anishnabek traditions

• Access to a vehicle and valid Ontario driver's license

• Criminal records check to be provided
