We are working with a well-established and respected National company based in Suffolk. They are looking for a Purchasing, Stock & Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding to the nominal ledger.
- Purchasing, Stock & Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts processes.
- Supporting internal audits and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Liaising with other departments to resolve purchase ledger queries.
- Providing ad hoc support to the finance team as required.
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
Required:
- Previous experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable, or a similar finance role.
- AAT or equivalent accounting qualification, (preferred but not necessary).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
