Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's busy automotive service centre in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to progress their career within a reputable dealership environment.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician :

Competitive basic salary between £34,000 and £38,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Uncapped on target earnings up to £52,480 per annum
Additional earnings through a £3,000 Productivity Bonus and a Time Saved Bonus Scheme
40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a rota of one in three Saturdays

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues efficiently and accurately
Carrying out vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance services
Completing all work to a high standard and within scheduled time frames
Maintaining detailed records of service work and parts used
Supporting team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Vehicle Technician or similar role
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Servicing and Repair or equivalent
Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of vehicle systems
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid UK driving licence
