SEN Teaching Assistant

Opus Teach are currently recruiting for a primary school near Sudbury, who are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis from September.
The school provide a broad and balanced curriculum through which they seek to ensure high academic standards. They take great pride in their family ethos where children are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and supported to develop respect and understanding for one another.
What to expect:
The SEN Teaching Assistant will be working within a mixed year 3/4 class.
Ideally you will have experience working with SEN with knowledge of ASD and challenging behaviour.
Working days:
Ideally Monday-Friday.
Optional extra:
Breakfast club, 7.40am start. After School Club, 6pm finish.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
 
* Be responsible for supporting students in the allocated class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
 
* Help support and be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in pupils/students' work and conduct in lessons.
 
* Work collaboratively and effectively with learners and other school staff.
 
* Take responsibility for safeguarding the welfare of Children and Young People within the school.
