Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant Wednesbury | Full-time, office based | Entry-level Role Are you looking to kick-start your career in finance with a supportive and growing business? We are working with a well-established business in Wednesbury who are looking to bring in a proactive Finance Assistant into a newly created role within their Business Support team. What you will be doing:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently (including multi-page invoices) Matching purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes to ensure accuracy Managing Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) and supporting reconciliations Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries Processing debit and credit notes and ensuring issues are resolved promptly Liaising with internal departments including logistics, sales and operations to resolve queries Communicating with suppliers and stakeholders, often by phone or face-to-face, to drive resolutions Supporting payment runs and ad-hoc payment requests in line with procedures Assisting with audit requirements by providing documentation and information when needed Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes What we need from you:
