Are you looking for a rewarding role where every day offers the chance to make a real difference? Mencap are recruiting Support Workers to join our friendly team in Sudbury. You will be supporting individuals who enjoy a wide range of activities, from watching football and playing pool to visiting the cinema or theatre. They love arts and crafts, spending time with family, and taking the occasional seaside trip during the summer, so no two days ever feel the same.
Job
Responsibilities- Play an important role in helping people live as independently as possible.
- Assist with preparing meals, cleaning, laundry and personal care needs.
- Create a warm, safe, and encouraging environment.
- Help support people to access the community using a valid UK driving licence.
- Participate in shift patterns between 7am and 10pm, including sleep‑in shifts and weekend work.
The role requires a full UK driving licence and the legal right to work in the UK. Mencap is a licensed sponsor but is unable to offer sponsorship for this role and does not support new visa applications.
