Spot Welder

Role: Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Pay: 12.75 - 15.00+ p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with assembly, fabrication, or sheet metal experience looking to develop their skills within a busy production environment.

Spot Welder / Pemserting Operator Duties:

• Operating spot welding and pemserting equipment to assemble sheet metal components
• Reading and following engineering drawings and production instructions
• Positioning and securing components ready for assembly
• Carrying out quality checks on completed products
• Using hand tools to complete assembly tasks
• Supporting general production and fabrication duties
• Identifying any quality issues and reporting concerns to the team
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or engineering
• Experience using spot welding equipment, pemserting machinery or similar tools would be advantageous
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with small components
• Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team

Training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and similar manufacturing experience.
