Fancy a role where you can learn a skilled trade and earn extra on top of your hourly rate? We’re looking for reliable people to join a well-established manufacturer in Sudbury.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Training: Monday-Thursday, 06:30-17:00 (days, initial training period)
- Shifts: Sunday-Wednesday, 20:30-07:00 (nights)
- Pay: £12.75-£13.50 per hour, and then £15.25 - £16.20, once on shifts
- Contract: Ongoing
We’re currently looking for a CNC Punch Nights Operator to join a well-established manufacturer in Sudbury, known for its commitment to its staff and quality work.
Hands-on training is provided, so we’re looking for someone reliable, hard working, and keen to learn how to run CNC punch machinery.
CNC Punch Nights Operator duties:- Operating CNC punch machinery to produce metal components
- Handling metal sheets and components safely
- Carrying out quality checks to make sure parts meet required standards
- Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and organised
- Training period on days before moving onto the night shift
- 20% shift allowance on top of your hourly rate
- Health & Safety induction on your first day
- Opportunity to build skills in CNC machining
