TOWN OF SUDBURY
TOWN OF SUDBURY SURPLUS PROPERTY RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL PROJECT
The Town of Sudbury is seeking bids to remove and responsibly recycle and/or dispose of surplus property. All surplus property is in the basement of the Sudbury Town Hall, 322 Concord Road, and the Alan
F. Flynn Building, 278 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA respectively. The Town Hall basement is at ground level and the Alan
F. Flynn Building has an elevator that can be used for this project.
All bids must be mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope, addressed to Facilities Department,
275 Old Lancaster Road, Sudbury, Massachusetts 01776, and marked “Town of Sudbury Surplus Property Recycling and Disposal Project”. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Facilities Department until 12:30 pm, Monday, July 14, 2025.
There will be a walkthrough opportunity to view the items for any interested party wishing to place a bid. The Combined Facility Director, Sandra R. Duran, should be contacted to schedule an appointment for the walkthrough.
We are requesting a total project price for a bidder who would be able to:
- Provide all needed labor, equipment and materials
- Provide a draft work plan as part of their bid response
- Draft work plan should include –
- # of staff allocated
- Proposed # of days needed
- Type of equipment to be used
- Any needed support from the Town of Sudbury to execute the project.
- Coordinate with the Town of Sudbury Facilities Department to coordinate and execute the project
- Complete the project in a timely and work person like manner.
- Provide diversion reports for all recycled and disposed surplus property.
- Draft work plan should include –
All work must be planned and carried out Monday‑Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
The Town of Sudbury Facility Department will assist the awarded vendor with logistics and building access.
