We’re hiring a Sprouts Head for Summer 2026!

Camp Sewataro is looking for a warm, confident, playful leader to head up our Sprouts group (ages 3–4), a small community of up to 20 campers who are just beginning their camp journey.

• Early childhood / elementary teacher
• Educators taking a summer break
• Parents or caregiver
  s who love working with young kids and want a meaningful half‑day summer role
• Anyone with strong experience leading young children in a joyful, structured way
• Half‑day position across the summer (perfect for educators or parents!)
• Your children can attend camp at a discounted rate
• Work in a supportive, fun, and values‑driven community

• Lead daily routines and help campers thrive socially, emotionally, and physically
• Guide Sprouts through camp activities with enthusiasm and strong supervision
• Set positive behavior expectations and keep safety at the center of everything
• Build a kind, confident little community where every child feels safe

• Passion for working with young children (required)
• CPR certified (required)
• Teaching certification strongly preferred
• College junior or senior or at least one year of Sewataro group leader experience
• Experience teaching/leading young children
