Camp Sewataro is looking for a warm, confident, playful leader to head up our Sprouts group (ages 3–4), a small community of up to 20 campers who are just beginning their camp journey.
This role is a great fit for:
- Early childhood / elementary teacher
- Educators taking a summer break
- Parents or caregiver
s who love working with young kids and want a meaningful half‑day summer role - Anyone with strong experience leading young children in a joyful, structured environment
- Half‑day position across the summer (perfect for educators or parents!)
- Your children can attend camp at a discounted rate
- Work in a supportive, fun, and values‑driven community
- Lead daily routines and help campers thrive socially, emotionally, and physically
- Guide Sprouts through camp activities with enthusiasm and strong supervision
- Set positive behavior expectations and keep safety at the center of everything
- Build a kind, confident little community where every child feels seen
- Passion for working with young children (required)
- CPR certified (required)
- Teaching certification strongly preferred
- College junior or senior or at least one year of Sewataro group leader experience
- Experience teaching/leading young children
