Camp Counselors at Camp Sewataro aren’t just babysitters, they’re mentors, hype leaders, problem solvers, and joy‑creators for groups of elementary and middle school campers.

Here you’ll build community, spark confidence, and help kids have the best summer of their lives, while having one of your own.

• Lead and support a small group of campers throughout the day
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome
• Jump into activities like sports, crafts, songs, swimming, nature, high ropes, and spirit days
• Diffuse disagreements and support campers through social or emotional challenges
• Collaborate with co‑counselors and supervisors to make each day better than the last

You don’t need previous camp experience, just energy, empathy, and a willingness to lead. Ideal backgrounds include education majors, athletes, RAs, club leaders, peer mentors, coaches, or anyone who loves working with kids.

In addition to your base counselor salary, you can boost your pay by taking on optional roles such as:

• After‑Camp Care Counselor (extended‑day hours)
• Bus Monitor (ride and supervise morning/afternoon routes)
