Firefighter​/Paramedic

The Town of Sudbury is seeking highly responsible candidates for the position of FF/EMT-P. This is a full‑time position with benefits, a starting Annual Salary of $73,076 (plus applicable stipends), opportunity for 100% tuition reimbursement, and a generous (up to 15%) education incentive.

Employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory results of a number of pre‑placement conditions including:

• Thorough background investigation, including motor vehicle, and CORI
• Pre‑employment physical examination
• Drug‑screening test
• Psychological screening
• Physical Abilities Test (PAT) to test the strength and agility required (consisting of seven stations)

As a condition of employment, successful candidates must remain a non‑smoker and comply with any residency requirements as outlined by state law and/or the Town’s collective bargaining agreement.

Successful candidates must attend and successfully complete the full‑time recruit program at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy prior to the conclusion of their probationary period.
