Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist at Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA
, delivering individualized care to adults with rehabilitation needs in a skilled nursing setting.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate daily living abilities and identify how physical, cognitive, and environmental factors affect independence.
Design treatment plans around residents’ priorities, current function, and anticipated discharge needs.
Lead therapeutic activities that improve self-care performance, upper-extremity function, and tolerance for everyday tasks.
Recommend adaptive equipment and teach compensatory techniques to residents and caregivers.
Guide COTA services, reassess functional progress, and adjust treatment goals when appropriate.
Complete timely evaluations and treatment notes, sharing recommendations with nursing and the interdisciplinary team.
What We Offer
$55–$60 per hour.
PRN scheduling based on your availability and department coverage needs.
Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
Collaboration with rehabilitation colleagues and support from therapy leadership.
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to develop practical, resident-centered goals.
Clear communication and accurate clinical documentation.
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
