Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Bear Mountain in Sudbury, MA
. Put your treatment skills to work helping skilled nursing residents improve everyday mobility, from moving comfortably in bed to walking with the appropriate level of support.

• Deliver physical therapy interventions within the plan of care established by the supervising PT.

• Guide residents through prescribed strengthening, balance, and endurance activities.

• Provide hands‑on practice with bed mobility, transfers, and walking while following individual precautions.

• Teach and reinforce safe movement techniques and proper use of prescribed assistive devices.

• Monitor participation, symptoms, and functional performance, reporting relevant changes to the PT.

• Document treatment sessions and share mobility guidance with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.

• $40–$45 per hour.

• PRN assignments arranged according to your availability and facility coverage needs.

• Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.

• Support from therapy leadership and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license.

• Ability to provide attentive treatment within an established plan of care.

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
