Senior Product Manager - Personalization
Reports to:
VP of Global Market Development
- Leadership of overall product strategy and product roadmaps along with identification of new product opportunities, line extensions and overall product improvements.
- Define key customer inputs into actionable product specifications of iterative and new technologies for intravascular imaging. Represent the voice of customer in all stages of product development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in developing product launch plans and key milestones to guide from product development to launch readiness.
- Identify product positioning and messaging that reflect the product’s value proposition.
- Create and align on the go-to-market strategy with commercial channel partners, including customer segmentation, account/customer targeting, messaging, and key performance indicators. Ensure a smooth transition to downstream markets and marketing team members.
- Lead product marketing for selected global markets.
- Work closely with global channel partners (specifically EU and JP) to ensure sales and marketing alignment and sales execution to marketing objectives.
- Develop global KOL’s and physician champions to support product launch activities.
- Define and execute strategic publication initiatives that support new product launch and market development initiatives.
- Monitor competitor strategy/activities in order to design marketing materials and product positioning strategies that blunt competitive efforts.
- 5 – 8 years experience working in the medical device industry, with a preferred background in interventional cardiology and/or capital equipment.
- Ability to work as a key member of the marketing team who is accountable to strategic marketing leadership. Function as the marketing lead on upstream marketing projects, while supporting targeted markets with downstream support.
- Effectively influences colleagues in a wide variety of geographies, cultures and functions.
- Ability to manage complex projects and programs. Ability to pull the appropriate functional and geographic functions together to support initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree (such as an MBA) is preferred.
