Job Requirements And Duties
  • Responsible for everything that happens during your shift.
  • Control cost, inventory, cash and customer relations.
  • Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time.
  • Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.

Qualifications
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
  • Accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide (calculator may be used).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make rapid, precise movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
  • Weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some work areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes indoor and outdoor.
  • Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing – most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking – short distances for short durations.
  • Sitting – paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
  • Lifting – bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more, unloaded by hand truck (cases up to 50 lb).
  • Carrying – large cans, 3 lb 7 oz, pizza sauce up to 30 lb.
  • Pushing – moving trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb force.
  • Climbing – infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Additional Information
  • Stooping/Bending – forward bending at waist at pizza assembly station.
  • Crouching/Squatting – occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
  • Reaching – continuous; above 72 in., down and forward.
  • Hand Tasks – eye‑hand coordination, continuous use of hands, frequent forceful pinching.
  • Machines, Tools, Equipment – pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter.
Driving Specific

Job Duties
  • Deliver product by car to customer door.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requires
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Essential Skills
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Ability to navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product.
Physical Demands
  • Carrying – carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
  • Driving – make several deliveries per shift.
  • Walking – travel between store, vehicle and customer location.
  • Climbing – navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Sensing
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.
