Full‑time positions available with toddlers and preschoolers in Suffield, CT.

• Create hands‑on activities that meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• Required:
  
  CDA, Associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field.
• Required:
  
  Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
• Meet state and company background checks and minimum education/experience requirements.

Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training.

Work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance.

The hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 – $23.20 per hour. The pay range listed reflects Bright Horizons’ good‑faith anticipation of offering for this opening. Actual compensation will depend on experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other factors.
