Job Summary
Responsible for the receiving and cleaning of all bulk tankers, including moving tankers in and out of the receiving bay, cleaning other tanks, and performing general cleaning duties.
ShiftSunday 11:00am – 7:30pm;
Monday‑Thursday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Hourly rate: $27.04 (range: $27.04 – $29.54). Includes competitive benefits such as health, dental, vision, wellness programs, employee discounts, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing development.
Responsibilities- Become a qualified yard tractor driver and properly move tankers in and out of the receiving bays as needed;
- Maintain standards in a Grade A receiving bay in accordance with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO);
- Follow all receiving procedures for each product, including verification and documentation of every load;
- Assemble and disassemble storage tanks and lines for CIP;
- Perform environmental cleaning activities (floors, walls, pipes, drains, and other surfaces);
- Report suspicious loads or activities to the quality assurance team and management as part of local Food Defense programs;
- Provide support to the mix operation;
- Produce a quality product that complies with all HP Hood, state, and federal guidelines;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and demonstrate safe work practices at all times;
- Follow GMP and SQF guidelines and all company, state, and federal SOPs;
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of yard tractor operation;
- Valid driver's license required (CDL experience preferred);
- Excellent hand/foot/eye coordination and manual dexterity;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic math and computer skills;
- Ability to work independently or within a group; good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Factory environment with varying noise and heat levels;
- Responsibilities allow occasional variation in routine.
- Stand for 6‑8 hours; sit occasionally for short periods;
- Walk 6‑8 hours; climb frequently;
- Bend, kneel, and twist wrists frequently; twist spine occasionally;
- Lifting: light (30 lbs occasionally); carry 30‑50 lbs occasionally;
- Push/pull under 75 lbs occasionally.
