Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager, the candidate will follow all established procedures and policies while producing a product that meets or exceeds available standards, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency to meet the company’s goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate and clean filling equipment.
- Operate and clean multiple high‑speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient, and effective manner.
- Complete paperwork in accordance with government regulations and HP Hood requirements.
- Safely operate all assigned equipment following JHA requirements.
- Consistently meet production quotas.
- Comply with all policies and guidelines for production and sanitation processes.
- Participate in cross‑training efforts to maximize departmental efficiency.
- Maintain weights, codes, packaging, temperature levels, and sanitizing to ensure quality products.
- Work cooperatively with managers, supervisors and peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work well with people.
- Effective communication skills.
- Multi‑tasking ability.
- Capability to work independently and in a team‑based environment.
- Factory environment.
- Varying noise and heat levels.
- Occasional opportunity for varying work routine.
- Standing: long periods (minimum 8+ hours).
- Sitting: occasional short periods.
- Walking: long periods.
- Bending: frequent.
- Twisting of spine: frequent.
- Lifting: heavy (50+ lbs) frequently.
- Carrying: heavy (40–60 lbs) frequently over distance.
- Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance frequently.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. The pay range for this position is $27.99–$30.58 USD.
